It is essential to burn seasoned wood in a gasification boiler. Wet or unseasoned wood can result in tar formation and damage to the boiler. Although load dependent, Lignum should produce energy for 7 hours on a full stoking. Note: the Lignum Gasification boiler must be used with a buffer tank. Sizing of the buffer is important. Check with HPL for installation details and schematics.
